I believe our conscience is created from past experiences. This theory is based on another theory I have that we reincarnate. Very rarely does anyone get something right on the first try whenever they are learning anything. And, since I think we come here to learn, I believe we are given more than one chance. If Earth is a school, then it does stand to reason that we would come here more than once to get whatever it is we are learning, right eventually.
It is a lot to think about, isn't it?
And you must admit, it does make some sense. If our "memory" is filled with enough experiences then we have a better chance of getting whatever we are facing in life right eventually. We face lots of situations and when we move past them we recall them at different points throughout life thinking things like: "I should have done this" or "I'm happy, I did that." Whatever the case may be, listening to our conscience does give us a better chance to get through whatever it is we are facing. I do think sometimes it would be better if we could recall a little about how we came to learn what our conscience is trying to warn us of.
Sadly, that's not how it seems to work.
There are times though when our conscience didn't "activate" or "trigger" while facing a situation. When this happens, I do believe we have never faced this type of situation before and therefore we are cataloging new information. Not to worry, whatever you chose during this situation you will have a chance to try again if things didn't turn out well.
It could be in this life, or possibly the next.
If I were you, I would be wondering what the right things were to do. How do we know if we did the right thing?
Well, whatever "the right thing" is will vary. What's right for someone else, might not be right for you. It is totally okay for you to pick something different or go on your own path.
As long as you chose what's right for you, you will never be wrong.
